Trafford Community Collective was successfully registered as a charity this month (March 2021) as part of its development work to become a new body to represent the voluntary and community sector in Trafford.
Over the last two years, work has been ongoing to build a partnership model to establish an independent voluntary network in Trafford. Despite the pandemic the Collective has continued its development as an organisation. Last year, a project group of lead partners was established and a regular cycle of meetings was put in place to engage and develop the membership with the new collective securing funding from Trafford Council and Trafford Clinical Commissioning Group to deliver these priorities.
As a newly registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation, the Collective can continue its work over the next year to build its membership and deliver its ambition to be the Collective voice of Trafford’s diverse community, voluntary, faith and social enterprise sector.
